We got a room with walk-in showers. Toast, pancakes, fruit, eggs and bacon was a bonus. Location: the hotel was really close to Mammoth Cave & the friendly hosts, the surrounding National parks, and the Mammoth caves.

I recently stayed at the Grand Victorian Inn for a solo road trip to visit Mammoth Cave attractions. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet rural area yet close to everything I wanted to see. The inn itself was beautifully decorated with antiques and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The owners, Karin and Gary, were friendly and enjoyable to talk to. They prepared a delicious breakfast that kept me fueled until dinner time. I felt safe and welcomed as a solo female traveler and will definitely be returning in the future.
